This is one of our favourite tuff spots. Couscous, lentils, flour, pasta, cereals, etc. Lots of different textures for little one to run her hands through before combining them and then with help separating them again. She loves using a sieve.

A snow set up from earlier this year. My little one wasn’t a fan of touching the snow! Hopefully next year she will enjoy it more.
Going back to the start of the year this was one of the first times we used our tuff spot. Scooping and pouring pasta was a favourite for many months.

It may look a bit messy but if you look closely you can see that my little one was making comfy beds for her animals and people to sleep on. She decided she needed to include the toilet paper herself which is one of the first times she’s added something to her play.

Thanks for the water dispenser suggestion earlier today @play.hooray
I picked one up while food shopping and it’s been put to good use already when playing outside. I set up a beach scene in our tuff spot and my little one enjoyed filling containers to add more water and washing the animals. Great idea for a little independence.

Enjoying the sun with some outdoor painting on flattened cardboard boxes.
Saw a lovely rock pool idea from @clairejohnson6224 earlier today so we made our own version in a baking tray. My little one enjoyed adding more cups of sand and arranging the items. We added in frozen frogs which she loved hiding in the wet sand once they had escaped their ice cube.

Zoo set up today. We are a big fan of farm animals so they got lots of space at the front. They were soon joined by the bugs hiding in the couscous and we enjoyed using our finger to trace patterns. We went around all the animal enclosures discussing and tweaking them. Little one was insistent the pond needed water in, wanted the leaves to put over the sleeping dinosaurs and made steps from the bricks so the penguin could get down from its high perch.
