The theme for week 5 of #playhooraysummerclub was looking up. We enjoyed playing rockets and zooming planes, a blue colour hunt outside and discussing the weather among other things.

A few holes in a small cardboard box is perfect for keeping my little one entertained pushing pom poms through.

This week the theme was all things shiny. The sparkly lights and foil blanket den went down particularly well as did the moon themed tuff tray.

We loved the third week of @play.hooray Summer Club with the focus on the sea.

Peter Rabbit small world set up complete with a quickly made rabbit hole for Peter Rabbit and friends to jump down.

The pirate ship has run aground and the treasure has been scattered.
Little one enjoyed using a mini spade and a spoon to dig for the sequins and plastic coins before adding ‘rain’ and burying and rediscovering the pirate figures.
Week 2 of @play.hooray Summer Club was a clothes themed week. My little one particularly liked ‘washing’ some clothes and trying to peg them on the line.

Loving @playhooray Summer Club. Here’s some pictures of our food related play for week 1.

Playdoh has been a favourite for many months and a word she quickly picked up. A lovely calming activity. Recently she’s enjoyed stomping different animals through the dough to make footprints.

This is one of our favourite tuff spots. Couscous, lentils, flour, pasta, cereals, etc. Lots of different textures for little one to run her hands through before combining them and then with help separating them again. She loves using a sieve.
