Day 12 of #oct_playalong is conkers so we’ve added some to our small world play with Peter Rabbit and friends.

Funky Owls

We were inspired by @mummy_and_pickle colourful owl this morning for day 10 of #oct_playalong

Warm

Day 9 of #oct_playalong theme was ‘warm’. We read the book ‘Snug as a Bug’ and looked at all the warm things the animals were wearing before picking clothes to dress our cut out person in. We also matched mittens and tried on our winter gloves ready to be snug and warm.

Leaf Collage

Assortment of leaves and googly eyes to make some faces after nap time for day 8 of #oct_playalong

Witches

Today we read some witch books and enjoyed sticking shapes together to make witch pictures for day 7 of #oct_playalong

Pinecone Robins

Today’s theme for #oct_playalong was pinecones so we made a cute little robin out of one.

Bats

Day 5 of #oct_playalong is bats. We had fun sticking shapes on to a bat and sprinkling glitter to make bat outlines.

Monsters

We combined colour sorting (something we’ve been working on) and posting pom poms (a favourite) in today’s monster themed activity for #oct_playalong

Spiders

Day 3 of #oct_playalong is spiders. We made a handprint spider and then covered our tuff tray in a masking tape web, added foam flies and scuttled spiders around pretending to eat them.
