Day 22 of #oct_playalong is squirrels. We love spotting squirrels and my little one enjoyed finding some acorns earlier this autumn. I set up a sensory tray with coloured rice, leaves and conkers. I hid acorns in the rice for the squirrels to find and added a magnifying glass to help with the search.
Today we have taken inspiration from @play.learn.laugh and made a red shadow board for day 21 of #oct_playalong.
Day 20 of #oct_playalong is spells. We added the ingredients to a couldron for the witch from ‘Room on the Broom’, one of our new favourite books.
Day 19 of #oct_playalong is skeletons so we enjoyed making a dinosaur skeleton in the sand.
My just turned two year olds loves a bit of sticking at the moment. A fox is the 18th theme for #oct_playalong
Day 17 of #oct_playalong is potions. We set up a potions mixing station in our outside play area. Lots of fun was had mixing, pouring, squirting and spraying. Little one decided to add grass clippings to the fun.
For day 16 of #oct_playalong we made trees from toilet roll tubes and added them to our tuff tray with our woodland bits to make a spooky forest. We enjoyed spotting all the animals that were hiding.
